Carnival of Love - Near Perfection from Sarah & Sparky

On October 31st Mollydooker owners Sarah and Sparky Marquis got a Halloween Surprise. Robert Parker awarded Carnival of Love a score of 99 points in his latest Wine Advocate newsletter. Carnival of Love is 100% Shiraz from the McLaren Vale.

The score of 99 points means that this near perfect wine will be in even greater demand in the coming weeks. The wine was recently delivered to US retailers; NJ received their allocation the third week of October. I am sure that it will be sold out very quickly so make some calls and get some immediately. Carnival of Love is love in a glass, so make a party with it!

I will be visiting with the entire Mollydooker winemaking and support team on the weekend of November 10th so if you have any questions for Sarah and Sparky, pass them along. Remember, friends of this site were the very first to taste both of these wines this summer at the Hamilton Jewelers Mollydooker Reception.

Enchanted Path receives 96 points by Parker

Not be outdone the second Mollydooker VG wine called Enchanted Path received an excellent score of 96 points from Robert Parker in his recent Wine Advocate newsletter. Enchanted Path is a blend of Cabernet and Shiraz; 66% Shiraz and 34% Cabernet from the McLaren Vale.

I have tasted both wines on many occasions and right now I prefer the Enchanted Path. However, in time I believe that the Carnival of Love will deliver the goods for those who are patient.
